Radiologist Assistant Certifications
To practice in West Virginia all radiologist assistants must hold an active status certification issued by the Board and an approved Job Description. Radiologist assistants who hold certification are listed on sheet one of the RA spreadsheet. Radiologist assistants who also have an approved Job Description on file are listed on sheet two of the RA spreadsheet.
The West Virginia Board of Medicine is the sole authority for the issuance of licenses to practice medicine and surgery, to practice podiatry, and to practice as a physician assistant in collaboration with MDs and DPMs in the State of West Virginia, and is the regulatory and disciplinary body for medical doctors, podiatric physicians and their physician assistants.
